Sad Anniversary

A year ago today I lost my Mom to liver cancer and it's been a tough week for all of us. It seems like yesterday, and it also seems like 10 years ago.

This was the last photo I took of her shortly before she passed.

I miss you Mom, and I love you!

Sweet. And, I hope, an appropriate time to thank you for the sweets recently at my Mom's passing. We do what we can, but nothing ever replaces them.

Best to you and yours...

Thank you for the kind thoughts Jim. No matter how well prepared you are for something, you never realize the full impact until it finally happens.

We are glad you got the gift we sent along with the note. Sorry it wasn't home-made, but we wanted to get something to you as soon as we could. We're glad you enjoyed them.

Take care!

We were thinking of all of you. I know it has been a difficult year. I really miss your mom and think of her all the time. Again, we are truly blessed with having so much family and such a good family. My love to all of you.

Thanks Lisa, and thanks for taking the time post, I really appreciate it. We are lucky to have a close family. I sometimes forget that.

Mom would be the first person to tell me not to dwell on her death, and get out there and do something for someone else that needs help now that she's gone. She was very unselfish that way. That keeps me going and helps to keep the faith!
